The images used are from a collection of my travel photography shot in Southeast Asia circa 2006. These particular photos were shot in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Angkor Wat, Cambodia. I manipulated the images using Photoshop masking and lighting modes. This country is unbelievably beautiful with a rich culture and history. However, it is also unbelievably impoverished, war torn and an incredibly sad experience to visit. Not sure if I’d want to go back, but I definitely would recommend it to EVERYONE!!! It’s an amazing place and a very humbling opportunity. We gave a waiter in a countryside rest top a $4 USD tip for breakfast and he started crying and hugged all 5 of us.
