Hand Study | 18″ x 24″ | Graphite Pencil on Paper from 2001
This was the first assignment for my Drawing 1 class at Broward College. I got an A- because the teacher didn’t like that I blended some of the hands with my fingers instead of a little blending tool. The bottom 3 were drawn from a reflection in a mirror. That was part of the assignment and actually made it more interesting as it presented a new set of challenges. When I get a chance, I’ll post a much sharper photo and a larger one as well.
