9″x12″ – Watercolor, Chinese Calligraphy Brush & Ink and Pen – Honest, Faith Love – February 2008 I’ve had a few people ask me how I learned Chinese Calligraphy painting so I decided to write a little about it. It’s a flattering compliment, but the truth is I don’t know much about it and I’m sure I do not perform it in the proper series of strokes. I just look at characters on the...

Machu Picchu Photography in Peru | 10.25.2006 This was shot on my Nikon D50 with the stock 18-55mm lens. The sky is almost ALWAYS grey at Maccu Picchu and I had just purchased my first Digital DSLR camera right before I left on this trip. I did not know about Shooting RAW format yet, but the photos still came out pretty great, especially after a little editing. I manipulated the colors and image slightly in Adobe Lightroom and added some HDR...

Sunset in Bangkok – 2006

I took this photo on the bank of the Chao Phraya River, near Wat Arun, which is one of Bangkok’s world-famous landmarks. It is better know as, the Temple of Dawn. This was just a building nearby, pictures of Wat Arun coming soon. Because of all the pollution in Bangkok, Thailand, the sky was kind of grey in the original photo. So I had to enhance the color saturation a tad in Photoshop.  I imagine this is exactly what people saw a hundred...
